Des logement temporaires ont été mis en place pour les ouvriers sur le chantier de l'immeuble Motorola à Wangjing, qui sera prochainement le quartier général de Pékin. Wangjing est le plus grand quartier résidentiel de la ville et est en voie de devenir un important quartier d'affaires. D'importantes entreprises chinoises ont déménagé du quartier central des affaires, Central Business District, et se trouvent actuellement dans ce nouveau quartier.
