Nick Cubbin Nick Cubbin was born in Adelaide, South Australia. He studied photography in Tasmania, where he also freelanced for several newspapers. Nick Cubbin worked for the Northern Star, in Lismore, NSW, before moving to Sydney in 1993 to work on The Daily Telegraph-Mirror. Today he is based in Sydney as staff photographer for The Australian magazine, specialising in editorial and feature work.
