Nick Cubbin Nick Cubbin was born in Adelaide, South Australia. He studied photography in Tasmania, where he also freelanced for several newspapers. Nick Cubbin worked for the Northern Star in Lismore, New South Wales, before moving to Sydney in 1993 to work for The Daily Telegraph-Mirror. Today he is based in Sydney as staff photographer for The Australian magazine and specialises in editorial and feature work.
